House El Roi is a house for intellectually challenged people that are self efficient while on their medication, but they don't have any family that are capable or in some cases interested to take them in.

There are 22 people between 30 and 78 in the house that are looked after by 6 personnel in 2 shifts.

They think and react like young children and needs lots of love and attention.

Helping Angels visited House El Roi on 10 Oct 2009 to hand over fresh fruit and veggies for the home.

3 of the residents, Anna , Mary and Maggie is celebrating their birthday in October so we decided to give them a

birthday party!

Happy Birthday !!! blowing out the candles… … then all the residents enjoyed some cake and snacks

Then it was time to play some games together… … we played musical chairs first…

… we played “pass the present” and we played ten pin bowling … with boxes of cookies as prizes for the winners!

After the games we handed out gifts to the birthday girls Anna , Mary & Maggie and the residents also received party packs .

Babs that takes care of the residents with such love ! They are loving wonderful people that loves giving hugs !
