In the current connected workplace, enterprise social networks are creating a new information landscape where the quantities of content and resources can be overwhelming. In this situation, not only the nature of learning is changing, but also the nature of how work gets done. So, how does a learning designer leverage this situation to remain relevant and involved?

Where does learning design !t? • Collecting Gathering artefacts (articles, videos, podcast, mobile apps, or weblinks) of interest. • Filtering Determining which artefacts contribute to the topic. • Evaluating Determining if the artefact is of value to group of items. • Arranging Where does the artefact belong - which topic field or category is it relevant to (categorise - typically new systems will allow multiple categories). • Presenting Add the item and review - making comments that provide expertise perspective and critical comment. • Distributing Publish - post the item to the relevant curation site.
