  • 14. Physical Measures Physical Risk Reduction Measures -Physical risk reduction measures are structural and non- structural measures that are undertaken to help avoid or alleviate the damage and losses that result from hazards.

Structural Measures-Refer to any physical construction to reduce oravoid possible impacts of hazards, which includeengineering measures and construction of hazard-resistant and protective structures andinfrastructures.ExamplesConstruction;Strengthening of facilities;Altering of the environment
