  2. 2. How to make a green smoothie:You need a fairly good blender to do this. If you dont have one, it is well worth yourwhile to invest in a blender.1. Break up your greens (To begin try small amounts of a mild tasting green, such asspinach, collards, kale, romaine lettuce, spring mix, or field greens.) and add a handful tothe blender.2. Add one or two bananas in chunks.3. Choose a second fruit with a prominent taste like blueberry, mango, strawberry, oranother of your favourite fruits - probably a cup or so.4. Add 1 tablespoon or more, to taste, of flax or chia seeds - pre-ground in a coffeegrinder.5. Add pure water to cover or more if necessary to get the consistency youd like.6. Blend well. Taste and add whatever youd like to taste more of. If it is not smoothenough, blend some more.7. If it is not sweet enough you could add more banana, or one of the followingsweeteners: maple syrup, honey, dates, or agave syrup.8. Adjust until it tastes really good to you. If you taste it the first time and its too thick, add more water. If its too green, add more fruit. If it tastes good but is not sweet enoughadd a sweetener. If its too sweet, add another handful of greens. Etc. The point is tomake it something you really want to drink!9. You can make up the recipe every time. The basic recipe that I always use is greens, fruit (almost always some banana), flax or chia, and water. I adjust the mix to taste everytime I make it.Of course, all of the recipes in this book are just starting points to get your own creative 2 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://www.flatbellylifestyletips.com A healthy body naturally has a flat belly!
