  • 2. The PREFORMATTED Element  The tag used is <pre></pre>  This element defines a block of preformatted text.  All are preserved exactly as they appear in your document.
  • 3. The ABREVIATION Element  The tag used is <abbr></abbr>  This element used to indicate that the text is a shortened form of a longer word or phrase.
  • 4. Title  Provides a text title for the element. Most web browser displays the value of the title as a “tooltip”  this is not a tag but an attributes
  • 5. Syntax <abbr title=“Before the birth of Christ”> B.C. </abbr>
  • 6. The ACRONYM Element  The tag used is <acronym></acronym>  This element used to indicate that the text is a pronounceable word formed the initial letter of the several words.
  • 7. Syntax <acronym title=“System Administrator”> Sysadmin </acronym>
