  • How many people use Facebook? Twitter? Watch YouTube videos? How about Pinterest? Greatest advantage -- as humans, and women, we are naturally concerned about other people. This is the easiest way to keep up with everyone. Worries -- totally public. Doesn’t replace real relationships, just a tool to stay connected. Need to be responsible.
  • We’re going to walk through each of these tools, how the Association uses them, and how your operation can, too!
  • On Facebook page: show them all the basics of the new Timeline. How to post a status update, create an event, write a note. Talk about the photo contest -- ways to keep users engaged, but not overwhelmed.
  • Show how to post a tweet, send a direct tweet, retweet, search #hashtags, Twitter chat groups, access lists, edit a profile.
  • Show how to upload, embed, email and share a video. Talk about subscribing to channels.
  • Show them what pins and boards are. Install the “pin it” button on your toolbar. Re-pin, customize boards, search for Angus content. Show all the categories.
