War of Dutch (1566-1609)<br /> - Better known as War of Dutch Independence<br /> - War against Catholic ruler<br /> -ended by Truce of 1609 (Spain withdrew her sovereignty from the Netherlands)<br />War of King Philip II of Spain (1588)<br /> -war against Anglican England<br /> - he lost the war because of Spanish armada( Invincible Armada)<br /> - England became “ Mistress of the Sea’s” and the Anglican nation.<br />Thirty Years’ War (1618-1648)<br /> -Catholic vs Protestant <br /> - ended by the Treaty of Westphalia ( recognized the quality of the Catholic and the Protestant religions)<br />
