They are observable weather events which illuminate and are explained by the science of meteorology.
The Seasons are dividing the year . They are marked by changes in weather , ecology , and hours of daylight . Seasons result from the yearly revolution of the Earth around the Sun.
Spring is one of the four seasons . It is the transition period between winter and summer . Spring and "springtime" refer to the season, to ideas of rebirth, renewal and regrowth.
Summer is the warmest of the four seasons , between spring and autumn . It is marked by longer days and shorter nights. The seasons start on different dates in different cultures based on astronomy and regional meteorology .
Autumn is one of the four seasons . Autumn marks the transition from summer to winter , usually it is in September that the night becomes noticeably earlier.
Winter is the coldest season of the year, between autumn and spring , marked by shorter days and longer nights.It is the season having shorter days and lower average temperatures , which have the coldest weather . This corresponds to the months of December, January and February. The coldest average temperatures of the season are typically experienced in January.
The current climate of the United Kingdom is classified as temperate, with warm summers, cool winters and plenty of precipitations throughout the year. The principal factors of influence on the climate includes the UK's northerly latitude (which ranges from 50∞ to 60∞ N), it’s close to the Atlantic Ocean and, especially, the warming of the waters around the British Isles by the Gulf Stream. The weather can be notoriously changeable from one day to the next but temperature variations throughout the year are small.
England climate can be described as a temperate maritime climate. England is famous for it’s rain green foliage and it’s countryside. The coldest months are December, January and February, when the temperatures is usually between 3 and 6° C. Rain falls throughout the year , and the weather in England can sometimes change very quickly. Especially in winter and autumn, it can bring gales and unconfortable weather with heavy rain, showers or even thunderstorms.
Temperatures are generally lower than in the other parts of Great Britain. Temperate winters and cool summers are typical. And extreme seasonal variations are rare. Low termparetures, however, are common in the Scottish Highlands, where the weather conditions are sometimes very harsh with gales and heavy rain, or heavy wind.
Ireland can be described as maritime influence, mild (not very cold) and humid climate. From May to mid Sepember, it is the warmest and generally the dryer time of the year. In Summer, temperatures generally fall in a range of 15°C to 20°. Winter days can be drizzly, cold and short, the temperature seldom falls below freezing about 7°C. Snow is very common in the mountainous regions of Ireland. Rain falls all the year but more common, and the weather can often change very quickly.
Wales has a temperate climate, with temperatures rarely reaching extremes. As with the rest of the UK , the weather is highly unpredictable. Coastal areas are warm in summer, although the country receives more rain and less sunshine than England. Conditions can be changeable, particularly inland, while May to August is the best time to travel to Wales as it is sunny and dry
