City facts & day schedule for “ YourCITY ” Copyright 2011 FUJITSU 2 City facts: Day Schedule: City: Barcelona Country: Spain Population: 1.619.337 people State: Catalunya Other facts: Calatunya has its own language, Catalan, and is considered a country within Spain. Barcelona is considered to be one of the most internation cities in the world!

    • To begin your visit to Barcelona, we´ll start with the most emblematic: Tha Gaudi Buildings. Early in the morning we can see the sun rise at Parc Guell, visit the Sagrada Familia Cathedral, and then go on to Casa Batló and La Pedrera.

    • We´ll start our Montjuïc day by visit the castle, with an amazing view to the see. Afterwards, visit the 1992 olimpic´s stadium, the Art Museum, and finish off at sunset watching the amazing Magic Fountain with it´s lights and music!

    • We´ll visit the old part of the town, going through the Born, Gotico and Raval, 3 neighbourhoods that are over 2.000 years old! We´ll be seeing the Cathedral, the neighbourhood tiny streets where you can easily find ancient ruins, have lunch at the Plaça Reial visit the Markets and finish off with a visit to the MACBA (Modern Art Museum of Barcelona)

    • Today we´ll be going to the Tibidabo amusement park. We´ll take the tram up the mountain, visit the castle (it´s actually a church), hike on the Camino del Cielo, go on the park´s attractions and finish off watchin the most amazing sunset on thi side of the mediterranean.

    • Today our day will have one theme only: Barcelona Footbal Club! We´ll visit the training facilities, visit the stadium, meet some of the players and finish off with an amazing Barça vs. Madrid football match!

    • After all this sightseeing, you guys must be tired, so how about a relaxing day at the beach? Barcelona has over 10 beaches, but the most famous is the Barceloneta. Everyday, even in the winter, thousand of people come here to chill out and relax, and now that the temperature is rising, you can also swim and even have a surf lesson!
