  • 1.
  • 2. I’m Ana Albi and I hope you will find the course as profitable as you anticipate it to be. Before you begin, some instructions on what to do each week.
  • 3.
    • Every Monday, at 8:00 am, Brasilia time, we will make the week’s work available to you .
  • 4.
    • Every week, you will have…
    • the week’s goal
    • a lesson covering the tenses of the week
    • You can…
    • go through each explanation from start to finish, or choose to look only at those you have doubts with.
    • go back and view anything as often as you wish. If you feel ready, you may go to something else.
    • click on the title and see what is in store for you that week.
  • 5. Also available each week, you will have practice exercises .
    • Again you can go through and try each exercise from start to finish, or only try the ones you want to reinforce.
    • You may re-do the exercises as often as you like or skip the ones you are sure about.
    • At any point, if you have doubts, you may send me an email to, or post it to our help desk forum and let your colleagues give you a hand.
  • 6.
    • The mandatory weekly activities – quiz and assignment –
    • will be marked with ** , which means that these activities must be completed as part of your class evaluation.
  • 7.
    • You will not be graded in either activity, and you may re-do or edit them as often as you wish.
    • It is your participation and improvement that we are interested in.
  • 8.
    • The two mandatory activities will be available to you from the beginning of the week, and you may try to do them even before looking at the lesson or doing the practice exercises, if you feel ready to do so.
  • 9.
    • At the end of the course, the final exam will be made available to you. You may only take this test once. Submitting the final exam is required for you to receive your certificate of completion, but no minimum grade is necessary to complete the course.
  • 10.
    • If you weren’t able to complete all the mandatory tasks within the week, you can still do them during the weeks that follow.
    • However, there are a couple of deadlines you must pay attention to:
  • 11.
    • I will respond to the forum postings until the end of each following week, that is, I’ll respond to week 1’s forum until the end of week 2, and so on.
    • All the quizzes will be available until April 3 rd .
    • The final exam must be submitted by April 8 th , at 8 pm .
  • 12.
    • If you encounter any problems with the deadlines, please send me an email explaining the problem and we will try to find a solution, if at all possible.
  • 13.
    • I’ll be happy to answer any questions by email. but for now, click on the lessons and other areas of our course and discover what we have made available for you.
    • Enjoy!
