First presented at the American Association for Affirmative Action 2013 National Conference and Annual Meeting in May of 2013, this presentation provides a detailed account of the key regulations that Federal Contractors must follow for OFCCP mandated compliance for job posting outreach and distribution to protected job seeker groups, as wells as options to meet the requirements for data collection and effectiveness analysis, and an outline of specific actions that must be taken. It then groups these actions into three specific themes of job posting outreach and distribution, data capture, and analytics and articulates a strategic roadmap that companies can easily implement. The presentation further explores costs and associated challenges with implementation ‘in the real world’ in light of recent regulatory change proposals, changes in the DOL leadership, recent incidents of enforcement, and the extension of jurisdiction of the OFCCP. Finally, the presentation reviews industry best practices for diversity outreach for OFCCP compliance, including a complete overview of cost effective, third-party solutions that are available in the marketplace today, and the advantages of adopting and integrating these solutions into a compliance roadmap.
