  • Cost effectiveness ● Has the flexibility to support type of hardware needs ● Has the flexibility to balance cost vs performance due different hardware types as needed ● Example: ○ High memory VM for analytics storage database (expensive but need 1 or 2) ○ cheaper instances for our analysis servers (Cheap need many of them)
