CharactersWhile almost all the main characters in EnterThree Witches, are not found in Macbeth,there arethe important few that remain such as, Lord andLady Macbeth. First, a girl named Mary. Also,we are introduced in that book to the cooknamed Swin, who knows much about magic andIldred, who is full of sadness. Fleonce, who wasin Macbeth,as a simple extra in the play, has a rolemuch greater in the retelling of this story.

Enter Three Witches- SummaryIn this story you are introduced to Lady Mary,who is patiently awaiting the return of herfuture husband and father. She soon learnsthat they have been hung for being traitorsagainst the king. Lady Mary becomes“adopted” under Lord and Lady Macbeth, butluckily for her they are to worried aboutsomething else to giver her any attention.
continued...The King is soon murdered and Lord and LadyMacbeth become the new king and queen, but LadyMary is confused on who killed him. She had beenexperiencing weird feelings in her thumbs, a sign onlythe three weird sisters could understand. These feelingsonly led her to be at the right place at the right timewhen she overhears the death prophecy that is given toMacbeth by the sisters. The amount of people deadcontinues to get larger and her suspicion grows deeper.Fleance, soon has a big role in the book when him andhis father are stopped by robbers, but eventually he ﬁghtsand ﬂees, and goes to reclaim the thrown from Macbeth.
