Our design strategy for the project embodies the spirit of our concept, regenerate . The design strategy strives to promote regrowth and rejuvenation to the tenants by creating a healthy, sustainable living environment. For the designated site in Raleigh, North Carolina, a residential apartment building , community building and courtyards were designed to meet the needs of CASA (Community Alternatives for Supportive Abodes). The design and placement of the buildings encourage interaction between tenants and connects them to the community. The buildings inhabit the entire site creating outdoor common areas that promote outdoor living along with the private terraces. Community building provides public and private gathering areas to encourage the fellowship between residents. Sustainable Music Recording Studio. Howard’s Knob, NC Group of 3 student designers Corrugated metal, instrument strings, glass tile and glass bottles, will be placed throughout the buildings. Visiting artists and students will be able to draw inspiration through musical interaction with the studio itself. Hybrid perspectives generated by hand sketching and Photoshop. North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. Raleigh, NC Café, Retail Store, Coffee Cart by 2 student designers Café Floor Plan Café Perspective produced in SketchUp. For the café in The Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh, There will be common areas for interaction with scientists and students. Design includes an informal bar, wireless internet, areas strictly for social purposes, and video monitors showing science videos. Stage set up for live music to engage a younger audience. Blue laminate floor design provides way-finding easier through the café.

The design concept of coalesce is the main focus of this Urban Hotel. Coalesce is shown through the merging of Chinese and western cultures, motifs, and design. Many of the furniture and accessories portray incorporate both curved and straight lines allowing their forms to blend in a cohesive way.
