Allen School Career Connection Education that Works Allen School I S S U E 8 J U L Y 2 0 1 2 Career Services Over 500 graduates participated in the Allen School 2012 Graduation Ceremony on June 14, 2012 at Colden Auditorium, Queens College. Almost 2,000 people came to celebrate in the accomplishments of the over 1,900 graduates of the Allen School’s Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant and Medical Insurance Billing & Coding programs! We congratulate all graduates who dedicated their time to bettering their future and for those of you currently in school, remem- ber, this could be you at the next celebration! Allen School students are fol-lowing in the traditions of From the very first module we noticed that Clarice had some trouble many that came before keeping up with the course requirements, but she did not let that define them. The Allen School her as a student. She spent the past few weeks working hard to bring her alone has graduated over grades up to par and has successfully done so. We as a class feel she de- 70,000 students! serves above all else to be Student of the Month for her outstanding pro- gress. Clarice went from making B’s and C’s to a straight A student; this should not go unrecognized. She has been a pleasure to be classmates with; she’s pleasant, mature, and a hard worker, and always pushes herself to her furthest limits in order to be the best she can be; a true inspiration. Students participated in an All Star event and this is the feedback from the supervisor:“It was a great event and the Allen School volunteers were very kind, professional, and extremely helpful. We would love to have them again at our Cycle for Life event in September. Please let them know we truly appreciated their help!” Congrats to our Valedictorians! Perfect Attendance and 4.0 GPA
