Business Software Demo The dialog begins in the Advisor section. It will ask you some basic questions like the name of your enterprise, the month and year you wish the plan to start, the name of your product or service and the names of your competitors.
Then you will be asked a number of questions about you and your competitors. In this example you are asked to judge how well the market can differentiate between your offering (City Location Services) and those of your competitors.
Or a question like this that asks you to compare your distribution capabilities with that of your competitors.

More detailed analysis covers the market, the environment, the competition, the prospect, your product or service, your pricing strategy and your promotion strategy. The critique is followed by observations that may stimulate you to rethink or expand upon your plan. The number of observations depends on the information you provided and how it interacts with the analysis rules. This outline shows the subjects considered by some of the observations.

Plan Write is designed to be easily customized to your specific needs. Existing topics can be renamed, moved or deleted and new topics can be added. New topics can include new text, new custom charts and custom spreadsheets. You choose the order of every topic in your business plan.
The revenue and expense statements can be extended by creating linked spreadsheets for any line item. The linked sheets will appear as subtopics in the final report.
Any modifications to the format can be saved as a template for future plans. Each new plan you create uses the modified format!
