Dear Graham, thank you very much for your encouraging words. We have suffered bad times because of this unethical and inadequate person, but it is time to go ahead. Even more because I have known people like you that has a scale of values similar to mine, and similar to my virtual friend Graciela Erro. I am starting step by step, but this time I do not want to take risks. This time I began to insert some presentations into another space similar to SlideShare, with the advantage that makes videos directly from my pps, and they insert into youtube, only with a clic... But with the disadvantage that there you cannot make friends like in slideshare. I am very grateful for your comment ....this goes for the three comments on the three pps that I have until now.. . A warm greetings from Uruguay, Alicia

Dear Alicia... This is a nice presentation illustrating diverse images of man! I enjoyed it very much, and again, below I reiterate my comment from your ’Oh Pretty Women’ show.

Reading the various comments herewith, I also felt compelled to urge you to keep sharing your creative works for the benefit of the ethical majority of genuine souls here on SlideShare; who respect each other’s work, and who offer constructive and supportive commentary to each other.

Unfortunately, on SS, as indeed is common all over the Net, there are a small minority of irritating people who trawl these pages, seemingly so that they can find opportunities to behave unethically, and trigger a reaction from the innocent contributor and other commenters.

I guess we should try to empathize and understand these individuals. I believe that they behave in this way to compensate for their social inadequacies / insecurities. Whereas you and I, indeed most of us here on SS, get our enjoyment from creating something positive and then sharing it with friends and peers, the social outcast gets their gratification via provocative commentary and unethical degrees of copying. Their inflammatory actions are ’bravely’ delivered, since their safety and anonymity seems guaranteed via the sanctuary of their PC.

My concern here is that you should continue creating your good works, and not let anyone deter you!! I wish you continuing success with your creations!

This is perhaps one of the last times that we exchange comments on this site.
It has been very unfortunate. Mr Jim Ripall appropriated two creations of Graciela Erro (OH PRETTY WOMEN and RETRATOS DE HOMBRES which were called by Jim Ripall PRETTY WOMEN and PORTRAITS D’HOMMES). He only searched in internet and found the originals in which Graciela inspired to make these presentations and copied the photos as they were online. But the selection of photos was made by Graciela, who gave them her artistic touch. But this man seems not to understand that this is unethical, and continues to insist that his creation is original ...because he published the originals photos!!! Incredible!!!
In February I asked Slideshare if someone could upload presentations made by somebody else (Case 11727) and Slideshare answered me that “it was not advisable to upload presentations that are not from my own creation, or if I had not the permission to upload them from their creator. And, if in the future, the author of the creation called the attention of this, Slideshare would be forced to eliminate the presentatin from the site”.
And... this is what happened with these creations. Jim Ripall did not ask permission to upload them. The owner Graciela Erro and I called the attention to Slideshare on this case (Case 39920), but not only Slideshare did anything, but also the presentation uploaded by Jim Ripall was selected and topped the category FASHION & BEAUTY.
We are not protected at this site. And this is very sad because I was happy through this site for several months, and I met wonderful people, including Graciela Erro, a wonderfull person, and although we do not know personally, there are principles that we have in common, which are the basis of a good friendship.
But I’m not comfortable at all, so I have already begun to eliminate most of the presentations.
Hoping that all this matter will not end so unfair, I am sending a big hug to all who have supported us in our ethics.

Jim Ripall,

Graciela Erro presentations are not just a collection of images taken from the Internet. Graciela plays movements, times, colors, shapes and sizes and create a presentation with a different style, art, itself.
One can like it or not. But Slideshare gives us the opportunity to comment, to give our opinion, to criticize or congratule the work done.
What I desagree and I can not accept is that someone else, arguing that he is helping us, makes the easy job, downloading the presentation, modifying deleting the name of its author and then uploading as his own creation.
This is not ethical. We manage a different scale of values where we attach great importance to ethics. But not all people are equal, unfortunately.
Yesterday we had a bad experience on our site, and we l feel very sad with
