      • Anyone can join an Elluminate meeting from a desktop or laptop wherever there is internet connection– no need to drive to a specific location.
      • No competition for scheduling—There can be numerous meetings scheduled for the same time. (They will occur in separate meeting spaces.)
      • People need mics if they are going to talk and cameras if they want to see each other in real-time.
      • Capacities for polling, presenting, chatting in text, visiting websites, sharing documents, and recording the session are all possible through this one electronic space.
    • How Do I Host/Schedule a Meeting?
      • Email Sue Schmidt and ask her to set it up for you.
      • [email_address] (X 8410)
    • What Participants Need to Know
      • Meeting Date and Time and link to meeting
      • Login directions and a password if you are using one for the meeting
      • Recommendation to allow for a little extra time for set-up before the meeting (10 min.)
      • That a mic that plugs into his or her computer is needed if they are going to be heard
      • Who to phone if they can’t get into Elluminate
      • (Sample Email is available.)
    • Getting People Settled in the Meeting
      • Greet people as they come online.
      • Explain how to use the mic (one person at a time, click on mic, release mic so the next person can talk).
      • Have everyone try their mics.
      • Encourage people to share pictures.
      • Briefly review the parts of the screen and tools such as hand-raising, and chat.
    • How to Upload PPT
