  • 1. Rachel's always had it easy - until she moved to the Big Apple. She was Miss Popularity in high school, but after leaving her fiancé at the altar , she decided to start a wonderful new life. A life were she didn’t had access to her dad’s credit card. Even though she dated guys, she always holds a soft spot in her heart for a certain dorky dinosaur fanatic. He's her lobster!   • 2. Monica is just as lovable as she is neurotic. She can be a little competitive , and she was large-size in high school. But now, she's a master chef and a clever cleaning machine. She likes to keep things organized in her home and love life, although the latter is a bit more difficult. Even though she had trouble at dating, she found the love of her life, without noticing he was across the hall.   • 3. Phoebe is not a typical New York girl. But this occurs when you're raised on the streets and your mother kills herself. She loves being weird, awkward, and happy. She writes her songs and sings them at Central Perk. Even though she’s a little bit crazy sometimes, she helps the people who she loves, just as carrying her brother’s babies. He has two children: Ben and Emma. Spents time competing with his sister, Monica. OCCUPATION  Paleontologist  College Professor  Dinosaurs, that’s what Joey thinks.

Ross brings home Marcel. Janice is introduced as Chandler’s girlfriend. Ross goes to China for a fossil dig. Because of Chandler, Rachel finds out Ross is in love with her. She goes to the airport to tell her about her feelings, but finds out he has a girlfriend.

Eventually, he dumps Julie but Rachel gets angry. Monica’s and Rachel’s prom video reveals that Ross was going to take Rachel when her prom date was late. She forgives him and start a relationship. Joey gets a part in the soap opera “Days of Our Lives”. Monica dates Dr. Richard Burke, a family’s friend. Joey temporarily moves out of his apartment, but returns. Chandler falls in love with a women through the Internet, and results to be Janice. They start dating again.

Ross and Rachel break up, and Chandler has trouble dealing with it. Chandler and Janice break up, since Joey saw her kissing her exhusband. Phoebe has a identical twin sister, and meets her half-brother, Frank Jr. Monica dates Pete Becker, a millionaire. She thinks he will propose but instead tells her he will become the Ultimate Fighting Champion. He gets beat up, and Monica breaks up with him.

Ross dates Emily. They decide to get married. Rachel decides not to go because she would feel uncomfortable. At the end, everyone, including her, go to London for the wedding. On the trip, Monica and Chandler fell in love. At the wedding ceremony, Ross’s vows include “Rachel”, instead of Emily.

Phoebe gives birth to his brother’s triplets. Emily and Ross divorce since he doesn’t end his relationship with Rachel as Emily demands. Now that everyone knows about Chandler and Monica, the six friends go to Las Vegas, where Ross and Rachel, because of drinking, accidentally get married.

Chandler moves into Monica’s apartment, so Rachel moves to Phoebe’s apartment. Their apartment catches fire, ending up with Rachel living with Joey, and Phoebe lives with Monica and Chandler. Ross starts dating his student, Elizabeth. Chandler proposes to Monica, and she says YES.

Phoebe’s apartment is fixed, but it’s rebuilt with one bedroom, so Rachel decides to live with Joey. Monica and Chandler get married. Phoebe and Rachel discover a pregnancy test, and think it’s Monica’s but is actually Rachel’s.

It revolves about Rachel’s pregnancy, and reveals the baby’s father is Ross. Joey begins having feelings for Rachel, but she doesn’t. Rachel gives birth to Emma, and Ross’s mother gives him a proposal ring. Joey finds the ring on the floor, and that makes Rachel think his proposing, she accepts.

Monica and Chandler discover that they are unlikely to conceive when they go to fertility specialist. Phoebe begins dating Mike Hannigan. Rachel moves out of Ross's apartment with Emma and moves back in with Joey. Rachel feelings for Joey. Ross gives a tour to paleantologists, and likes one named Charlie, but she is attracted to Joey. The six friends and Charlie travel to Barbados to hear Ross’s keynote speech. Charlie and Ross kiss. Joey decides to start a relationship with Rachel, after she tells him her feelings.

  • 20. Originally the show was going to focus on just four characters: Monica, Ross, Rachel, and Joey. Phoebe and Chandler were going to be supporting characters. Monica and Joey were originally intended to be the main couple on the show. In the early stages of development, the writers considered making Chandler gay. The frame around the peephole originally had a mirror in it. It was accidentally broken by a crew member, but because it still looked good, they decided to leave it there.
  • 21. The iconic orange couch in Central Perk was found by a set designer in the basement of the Warner Bros. Studios. The ages of the cast when the show premiered: Season 2 is the only season without a Thanksgiving episode. Gunther was not originally a speaking part; James Michael Tyler, got the role as an extra because he knew how to work an espresso machine. During the first season of the show, each cast member earned $22,500 per episode. By the end of the series they each made a $1 million an episode.
