The position training is also conducted in case of mechanical-organizational changes at a certain position, particularly:
Changes in the organization of work positions,
When the use of substances harmful to health are being introduced,
When new or altered tools, machines and other devices are being used,
The worker employed at such position undergoes the position training whose aim is to prepare him/ her to perform his/ her work safe t y in changed conditions. The duration of the training should be dependent on professional preparation of the worker, job tenure as well as the kind of work and potential threats of a given position at which the worker is to be employed, however, no sorter than 8 hours.

The position training is conducted by a person managing workers and designated by the employer or by the employer him-/ herself, if they have the right qualifications and are trained in methods of conducting the position training. The position training ends with a test of knowledge and skills of performing work in accordance with the rules of occupational health and safety, and such test is the basis of allowing the worker to perform work at a given position.

An introductory interview of the instructor with the trainee,
Presentation and explanation by the instructor the whole work process which is to be carried out by the worker,
A trial performance of the work process by the worker while having the instructor correct the ways of performing work,
Unassisted work of the trainee under supervision,
Testing and assessment by the instructor the way of performing work by the trainee.
