The Painter & The Poet
by John Raynard

Meet featured artist, John Raynard. Chat with him
about his work and listen to a selection of his poems which serve as
companions to his art work. John has generously donated a print as a
door prize to one of the lucky attendees.
John is self-taught and works in a variety of media, including Acrylics,
Pastels, Pen and Ink and, more recently, Oils. His writing of poetry came
later and is often associated with his art.
He currently lives in Ajax, but was born in India and has lived all over the
world. Learn more about John’s life and how he became an artist.
John’s work will be on display in our Main Branch,
Rotary Room from Sept. 4 to Oct. 10.
