Yes. It is about what you
discover, when you are
uninhibited.
Being uninhibited engages our
five senses.
What do our five senses have to
do with design?
What makes Design so important
anyway?
And what makes a good
Designer?
Are Designers born or made?
What if we had the technology to
manufacture Designers?
People bred for the sake of
fashioning solutions?
Or maybe we could just farm
Designers?
Have them bred in test tubes or
maybe free range?
Wow! Isn’t that a Good Idea?
And how do Good Ideas come
about?
Through Seeing?
Hearing?
Smelling?
Tasting?
Touching?
Yes. So I get the message.
Five Senses.
What’s so great about the
five senses?
We are born with the senses we
need to engage the world around
us.
Our ability to see, hear, taste, touch
and smell, enables us to observe,
absorb and relate experiences.
We need to actively use these
senses as tools of interaction.
We need to understand how
people experience.
We need to ask questions.
And be comfortable with having
more questions than answers.
Because the solution, is in the
question.
That is the start to thinking like a
Designer.
