Audience feedback This will show you some of our feedback of our main product}
Through Facebook, questionnaires and asking people what they thought of the trailer we have very good feedback, most of the people that we asked said it was ‘Very good’ or ‘Excellent’ because it gave a Hollywood big budget feel. Some of the feedback was very positive and some was constructive, through Facebook ‘ ‘Agon OMG THIS LOOKS LIKE A SCORSESEE FILM iv just watched it about 5 times, my mum loves it too’ & ‘Jehhhzzz dis ting is on point, well done man, I liked the colours and the lighting u used in the trailer looked very professional’ ‘This is HARD! The only flaw in the trailer is the speed of the subtitles I think they need to be extended just a few seconds longer’ A new feature has made Facebook even better to market and find out information fast bout what audience think of a product. Many of our audience that watched the trailer answered excellent to this.
This was a personal message sent by a fan of the page, I justified why we used the hand of the mother turning off the light, but this got me thinking about how people might view this and if it was ‘odd’ to many others. This showed me the power of one’s perception and opinion on such a small detail. This was very constructive as it got me asking other people what they thought about that particular moment in the trailer.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE GENRE AND WHY?
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE FILM AND WHY?
HOW DID YOU FIND OUT ABOUT THE FILM? (WEBSITE, A FRIEND, YOUTUBE, FACEBOOK ETC)
DID YOU WATCH THE TRAILER BEFORE GOING CINEMA?
HOW EFFECTIVE WAS THE TRAILER IN PERSUADING YOU TO GO AND WATCH THE FILM?
These were the questions we asked the audience to answer. This was done before we started the project as part of market research into how audiences find out about new and upcoming films. This was useful as it steered us the right direction.
Audience research and audience feedback played a very important role in our entire project, the top half of the screen shots are only 4 of our 12 different interviews we did asking people specific questions about what they prefer to watch as part of research. The bottom screenshots are audiences reactions after watching our teaser trailer this gave us some really good audience feedback in enhancing our work and knowing what was good about our work in addition to finding out about stuff we could work on to make it appeal to a vaster range of audiences
