Overview: Midtown Village, a vibrant mixed-use community in the heart of Tuscaloosa, AL. The first of
its kind in the state of Alabama, Midtown Village offers a combination of specialty retail, outdoor cafes
and restaurants, entertainment, and residential space.
Challenge: Midtown Village faced the challenge of getting their presence known. Since it was a new type
of real estate to Alabama, they needed to intensely market themselves and encourage residents to visit as
well as attract visitors to the retail center.
Idea: Promote a fun place to explore.
Solution: Agency Entourage helped market Midtown Village online by establishing a weekly email
newsletter, a retail center blog, and build their community across various social media platforms. Email
marketing increased resident and visitor traffic and created awareness about held events. The retail center
blog exclusively highlighted and informed the public in great detail about each tenant and their unique
offerings. Social media profiles were established to interact with the public and announce just-in-time
promotions, discounts, and coupons.
Results: Midtown Village received very positive feedback from their retailers, they experienced large
turnouts and participation in their on-site events as well as greatly heightened the retail center’s profile in
