  3. 3. South Africa is multi-ethnic and has diverse cultures and languages.
  4. 4. Eleven official languages are recognized in the constitution. Though English is commonly used in public and commercial life, it is only the fifth most-spoken home language. </li></li></ul><li> LOCATION <br />Location of South Africa is on the very southern tip of Africa, it is a republic which is surrounded by land at the top & the two oceans, Indian Ocean & Atlantic Ocean. <br />

The other notable part of North Africa is the territory of the Western Sudan. <br />
