Audience feedback evaluation 4

  1. 1. Audience Feedback
  2. 2. The next few slides include some audience feedback on thethree different products I have created. My Music Video. My Digi Pack. My Magazine Advert.A majority of my feedback has been done through the use ofcharts and asking directly for feedback from my targetaudience after showing them all three products and taking intheir opinions.
  3. 3. Do you think the transition between the black and whitenarrative and the coloured band performance works? Yes No Asked to 20 members of my target audience.
  4. 4. I received some good feedback about the transition betweenthe black and white narrative and coloured band performanceof my music video. People who said they liked it said it gave aclear understanding of what was the narrative and what wasperformance. They said the black and white gave a very coldlook to the narrative which helped represent the characterbeing chased in his struggle to keep running. They also saidthat because of the low winter sun the black and white helpsbalance and distribute the colour in a more professional way. However, a small minority of my audience though that thecolour would have been better in both elements of my video asit would of helped draw that parallel between the two closer.
  5. 5. Do you agree that I was right to leave a blank background on myMagazine Advert so that it links into the band performance element of my Music Video? Yes No Asked to 20 members of my target audience.
  6. 6. The majority of my target audience liked the fact that I left anopen white background to my Magazine Advert, they said theyliked the idea of less being more and that the blank space letthem think a lot more about why it might have been left blank. They also said they liked the idea because it was original andmost bands and their designers would not think of creatingsomething as simple as that. If they came across this in amagazine, the white really takes up the page and would draw areader in.However, a small minority again said they didn’t like the idea ofthe white space as they thought it was too simple and wouldn’tdo enough to attract a member of my target audience into it.
  7. 7. Does the continuity of the sign-postwith a trail into the distance work inmy Digi Pack and Magazine advert? Yes No Asked to 20 members of my target audience.
  8. 8. The whole idea of my Digi Pack and Magazine Advert was togive the impression of being on a journey. After showing this tomy target audience a large majority of them liked the idea ofthe signpost and trail. They like the close up signpost on theinside of my Digi pack and the fact that on the back cover youcan see the signpost in the distance as if you’ve moved awayfrom it. It links well with my magazine advert which my targetaudience liked as the signpost catches the eye and the blankspace in the background also gives the impression of a longjourney. My target audience liked the originality of the blankbackground. They said that it was a risky thing to do leavingthe background blank but the risk has paid off and it looksgood.
