What is the Library Catalogue?• The Library Catalogue is a searchable database• It includes all the materials (books, journals, videos, DVDs, CDs, dissertations, etc) held in Middlesex University Libraries• Use the Library Catalogue to find out if we have what you are looking for e.g. a journal article you have been asked to read• The Library Catalogue will tell you if the item is held by the Library, where you can find it and if it is available for loan• Some items are electronic e.g. e-books and e-journals and the Library Catalogue will give you the link to access them online• You can use the catalogue to request and renew books which you have on loan. Work Based Learners can request books for loan by post.

    • 6. Select ‘Journal keyword’ from the drop-downmenu….. .….then type the name of the journal (ie. ‘Educational Action Research’) into the search box and click on ‘Go’
    • 7. This is the journal we are looking for This journal is available electronically Click here to access the journal online. Make sure you check the date of the article you need and choose the correct link.
    • 8. This is the electronic journal Now chose the correct date, volume and number of the issue you require from the list….
    • 9. The journal articles in this issue are now displayed Scroll down the screen until you find the article that you require. They must be readlocated and what issues are available and/or copied in the Library
