Education I believe the benefits of a degree in the liberal arts is that not only have I gained knowledge and skills that are transferable to many areas but most importantly I have learned how to learn. I feel confident that I can accomplish anything I am faced with because of this.
Experience : Peer Career Advisor I have three years in advising and counseling university students and alumni through the DePaul University Career Center. I have gained great skills such as customer service, administration, marketing, collaboration, project development, writing and social media, researching, presenting and facilitating.
Experience: DePaul Interfaith My experience with DePaul Interfaith is important to me because I have taken part in the conceptualization and birth of a new organization. I have learned collaboration, teaching, and program development skills through this organization, as well as discovered my passion for working with diversity.
Experience: Research Assistant My being a research assistant has allowed me to exercise one of my passions, which is research. Learning advanced research methods that can be applied to other fields has enhanced my skill set.
