2. Here I have added the photo which
will act as a background on my music
magazine. It will also be the main
image on my music magazine. I added
this by “importing media.”
3. At this stage, I had added my
masthead “Indie-vidual” and the
website on the right underneath
and on the left side underneath is
my positioning statement “The only
way is Indie.”
4. This bit I found challenging. I had the cut
off the top section of Hayleigh’s head
and the copy and paste it so that it
would go in front of the title. I cut the
head by using the polygon lasso tool.
Then I blended it into the background
by using the spot brush healing tool.
5. In the screen grab, I had added my
cover lines and main cover line by
using a simple text box. Then, I
added outer glows to the text to
make it stand out more.
6. This is the final design of my music magazine. By
this point I had added the issue number and
date in the bottom right, just above the
barcode. I inserted the barcode my “importing
media.” The strip on the bottom is added by
using the shape tool and the writing over it is
added my using a simple text box.
