Painting work Painting work Presentation Transcript

  • EXPERIMENTAL PHOTOGRAPHY Jess Britton
  •  I decided that I needed to experiment with Photoshop on another image to show that I can produce experimental work. For this image I experimented with painting on Photoshop. I used the polygonal lasso tool to pick out the subject from the background, and placed in onto a new layer. I then put in two new layers and used the paint tool to get the water paint effect. I believe that this experiment worked well because I was able to take an image that I had taken and made it look like I have painted on it, while it was on Photoshop. I believe that this could have been improved, and if I could do this experiment again then I would make sure that I chose or take an image that works better, like a portrait image or an image with one main subject. I believe that this image is experimental because I was able to try out a new technique on Photoshop, which I believe that I did quite well even though it was the first time I completed it.
