The UME Resourcing events division at UME Group has been setup with the purpose of providing quality event personnel to events here in the United Arab Emirates and throughout the world. The numbers of people required to then run such an event are significant, from venue staff, hospitality staff, ticketing, accreditation, signage, logistics and transport to the huge numbers of support staff. UME Resourcing has a great deal of experience in the initial recruitment of Local Organising Committees as well as all subsequent large scale recruitment of operational and support staff for the event. Part of our event staffing service includes recruiting the vast number of volunteers needed for events which can reach into the thousands. We streamline and manage the process from end to end, handling the advertising campaign, collection and screening processes, using specially built tailor-made online systems, which ultimately result in a comprehensive database of qualified volunteers which enables us to set up and run a complete volunteer programme. A well designed volunteer programme can leave a sustainable human legacy following the event through the acquisition of new skills that are transferable into meaningful employment. Our volunteer programmes in developing countries are designed in conjunction with our Legacy programme, managing the recruitment, training and development of large numbers of volunteers that are required for events who can then be placed into positions within industries such as retail, hospitality, transport and leisure.
