the Big picture

If you were born in a rich nation after 2000, there’s a 50% chance you’ll live to 100. The Queen will be writing a lot of letters. source: study in The Lancet medical journal.

The majority of people say they want to work beyond retirement age. Only 11% are employed over state pension age.
