Enterprise Architect Organisational Services Vacancy Ref No. 09202 Council is seeking to appoint a motivated and professional individual to provide vision, leadership, analysis and design expertise for the development, maintenance and governance of the architecture for Council’s Business requirements and develop the roadmap to evolve Council’s Information and Communications Technology environment from current to future states, in support of strategic and business goals and policies. The successful candidate will provide support to the Senior Enterprise Architect, Enterprise Architecture Team, ICT Strategy, Policy & Enterprise Architecture Unit in supplying expert consulting mentoring and guidance to teams in the application, development and use of business solutions and technical architecture deliverables, standards and processes. EXTERNAL The position liaises with a wide range of State and Federal Government LIAISON departments, consultants and suppliers. PURPOSE OF POSITION: Provide vision, leadership, analysis and design expertise for the development, maintenance and governance of the architecture for Council’s Business requirements and develop the roadmap to evolve Council’s Information and Communications Technology environment from current to future states, in support of strategic and business goals and policies. Provide support to the Senior Enterprise Architect, Enterprise Architecture Team, ICT Strategy, Policy & Enterprise Architecture Unit in supplying expert consulting mentoring and guidance to teams in the application, development and use of business solutions and technical architecture deliverables, standards and processes. KSC 4 Proven ability to identify, analyse and evaluate the functions and capabilities required of Enterprise Architecture in support of the stated business strategies and processes to identify opportunities to innovate, add value to the business and positively impact strategic planning. KSC 5 Highly developed interpersonal written and oral communication and consultation skills appropriate for all levels of the organisation including proven ability to prepare effective reports, address meetings, facilitate groups and highly developed skills in negotiation, consultation and conflict resolution. KSC 6 Tertiary qualifications (to an advanced degree level) or equivalent experience in relevant information management, information technology, project management, or business discipline.
