On the legal end, reviewed and surmised hundreds of pages of court documents, including claims, rebuttals and principal depositions. Formed and managed a team of 3 developers in discovery and fact gathering. Final reporting of legal expert opinion included providing 26 hours of deposition on cause and effect of product usage, summary of cause and effect in the vendor’s handling of the product and related facts that resulted in direct financial losses to SFG and its affiliates. Portal/Collaboration Technical Architect/Designer Verso Technologies, Inc. 08/04-11/04: Architecture, design for Verso’s corporate (international) intranet based using the SharePoint Portal Server platform and related technologies. Detailed architecture included business analysis of the organization goals, short and long term end-use, mentoring/training (user and technical). Project also included design/implementation of a completely new ‘front end’/User Interface to SharePoint portal. Technical Architect/Designer (SharePoint POC and Implementation) Callidus Software 03/04-07/04: Architecture, design and deployment of both a Proof of Concept and company wide implementation of SharePoint Portal for internal corporate collaboration as well as future external customer use (in promotion and support of their Enterprise Incentive Management (EIM) software). Technical Architect/Designer (Content Management/Portal Design/POC Execution) Microsoft Corporation 11/03-02/03: Two short term engagements: First: Design, development and construction of a complete demo as Microsoft’s RFP Multi-Scenario Response for a City/County enterprise-wide portal and content management solution. In addition to site flow, construction and navigation, the effort also included design/creation of multiple templates within MCMS, graphics creation, and development of multiple Web Components and Web Services using the .NET Framework. Second: Design of large scale conceptual Portal and live demonstration of SharePoint Portal Server 2003 integrated with MCMS 2002, Project Server 2003 and Office System 2003. Both solutions included: Microsoft Content Management Server (MCMS) (including Workflow and Internationalization), SharePoint Web Services 2.0, SharePoint Portal Server 2003 (SPS), ASP.NET (VB and C#), SQL Server 2000, SQL 2000 Notification Services, BizTalk 2002, Windows 2003 Enterprise Server, Microsoft Office System 2003 (including Content Posting from Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and InfoPath) and Microsoft Project Professional and Server 2003. Chief Technical Architect (Portal/Collaboration mission critical systems) Family Dollar Stores 03/03-11/03: Devised/executed the complete strategy for selection of a mission critical ESS/Daily Manager Portal Application for implementation operations wide (10,000 stores over 5 years). Chief architect and primary point person of the entire project (from both technical and business perspectives) including conception and setup of the entire phased process, from mission development to RFP/POC execution and evaluation. This included implementation of SICG’s process methodology to maximize resources to time, effort and results. Principal activities included advice on the overall strategy and implementation methods to perform an overall review and assessment of the current Technology Infrastructure within the Government and various agencies. Established the contacts and worked directly with partners in Romania to manage the bidding process. ECommerce Architect/Designer Nellebelle, Colorado (Priceless Rent-a-car) 07/03-12/03: Architecture, design and development of a franchise based management and reservations system (.NET based). Infrastructure Architect (Document Management/Imaging Systems) Stock Building Supply 05/03-07/03: Due diligence review and analysis for selection and implementation of a document management/document imaging system. This included implementing SICG’s full methodology for the review: Establishing the mission of the initiative, development and holding of organizational workshops of constituent audiences to promote awareness, gain participation and evaluate the current knowledge base, development of a complete functional specification and evaluation criteria, selection of key vendors as “best fit” for RFP presentation and execution of the RFP and Proof of Concept implementations.

Internet/Intranet Applications Architect/Advisor The Ford Foundation 04/03-07/03: Detailed analysis of all existing operational aspects of the foundation’s internet/intranet Employee Tracking/Grant System Portal and Infrastructure systems applications including platform, application base and network for the purpose of providing specific recommendations in the areas of on on-going maintenance requirements, expansion capability, authorization and security and viability of the platform. The review included detailed examination of coding practices, database usage, site and feature navigation, security, user interface and an organizational review to determine personnel knowledge base to determine current areas in need of improvement and provide recommendations on future maintenance and development. Enterprise Reorganization Program Manager, Infrastructure & Collaboration Architect United Pan-Europe Communications, Netherlands – United Global Com, USA 12/01-12/02: Enterprise Program Manager and partner for the end-to-end re-engineering of UPC-NL’s business operations and network. Additional responsibilities included management and monitoring of nine external partners/vendors, process and procedure oversight and checkpoint for all projects and engineering activities. In addition, established a Program Management Office with policies and procedures; Designed, developed and implemented an internet based partner-wide Project/eProcurement Portal and Collaboration system integrating all aspects of the operations including Project Management, Document Management, Change Management and Engineering Requests. Included full integration of a ‘fixed price’ auction site (emulating eAuction), complete user interface for page layout selection and content management as well as complete integration of Site Server’s Personalization and Membership seamlessly replacing Siebel’s. Due to artist mandate, user interface was maintained but required the complete rewrite of all existing code (over 76,000 pages) however all other technology was replaced: Site Server was used for the book store operations, personalization and membership control, Siebel eAuction was enhanced to integrate into the User Interface design and all back office functions were automated with new accounting and B2B systems (EDI, fulfillment, merchants, etc.).
