More information about a professional degree <ul><li>The professional degree is a master’s level or doctorate degree. </li></ul><ul><li>There are a few professional degrees that require only bachelor’s degree training. </li></ul><ul><li>Most professional degrees will require a fairly extensive education. </li></ul><ul><li>Some require training after education is finished in order to become licensed. </li></ul>

More information about professional degree <ul><li>The professional degrees that require doctorate level training include the following: </li></ul><ul><li>MD or medical doctorate </li></ul><ul><li>DO or Doctor of Osteopathy </li></ul><ul><li>JD or Juris Doctor (Degree in law) </li></ul><ul><li>Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) </li></ul><ul><li>Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) </li></ul><ul><li>PhD in fields like psychology or pharmacology </li></ul>

Occupations with Fastest Growth <ul><li>Of the 20 fastest growing occupations in the economy, half are related to healthcare. </li></ul><ul><li>Healthcare is growing rapidly due to aging of baby-boomer generation. </li></ul><ul><li>A baby boomer is a person who was born during the Post-World War II baby boom between 1946-1964. </li></ul><ul><li>Seventy-six million American children were born between 1945 and 1964. </li></ul>

Occupations with Fastest Growth <ul><li>Two of the fastest growing occupations are in the computer specialist occupational group: Network systems and data communications analysts. </li></ul><ul><li>Increasing demand is due to organizations continue to update and incorporate new technologies. </li></ul><ul><li>Growing reliance on wireless network will result in need of more system and data analysts. </li></ul>
