    • 1. ULI’s Mission The mission of the Urban Land Institute is to provide leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide.
    • 2. ULI – District Councils • The 51 District Councils organized in North American communities serve most of ULI’s nearly 30,000 members • In Cleveland there are over 190 local Members • Organized with a Council Chair and various sub committees leading the local initiatives • Participation is the best way to network and learn
    • 3.     • 7. Recent Events Flats East Bank Project • Working with CBRE, ULI organized an early visit to the completed Flats East Bank Building and Hotel – Building tour – State-of-the-art construction – Leeds certified – Neighborhood improvement – First step in a significant redevelopment project
    • 8. Recent Events - YLG Transit Oriented Development Issues • The YLG assembled a panel of national and local speakers • Represented were – RTA – North East Ohio – RTD – Denver – NOACA – Northeast Ohio – Forest City Enterprises – Maron Development
