RECEIVING <ul><ul><li>At this level, the concern is </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>the learner to be sensitive to the </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>existence of certain phenomena </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>and stimuli, that is, he is willing to </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>receive or attend to them. </li></ul></ul>
  7. 8. RESPONDING <ul><li>At this stage, the concern is with the responses that go beyond merely attending to the phenomenon. One is doing something with phenomenon besides merely perceiving it. </li></ul>
  8. 10. VALUING <ul><li>Behavior categorized at this level is consistent and stable to have taken on the characteristics of belief or an attitude. </li></ul><ul><li>Seeing worth in new information. </li></ul>
  9. 12. ORGANIZING <ul><li>As the learner continuously internalizes values, he encounters situations for which there are several relevant values. </li></ul><ul><li>Fitting the new information into existing schema and deciding how the new information makes sense for you. </li></ul>
  10. 14. CHARACTERIZATION by Values <ul><li>At this level of internalization, the value already have a place in the individual’s values hierarchy. They are organized into some kind of internally consistent system which controls the behavior of the individual </li></ul>
