Coupled with the impending MUHC super-hospital proposal, and within the context of a highway and rail reconstruction involving about 122 hectares of land, this site is part of one of the larg- Angrignon Green Line est urban regeneration projects in Montreal’s history. The site presents urban designers with enormous opportunity to be creative and dynamic and grave responsibility to Jolicoeur Transit Stop design something that will work. Open land without existing architecture to inform design decisions is alluring. This space, however, is far from a blank slate. It faces an inevitable relationship with massive transportation infrastructure, Green Space and isolation from, and unique relationships with, its surrounding communities. This megaproject stands to alter the character of traffic circulation, and the orientation of local developers with respect to their target markets. Its weight Jolicoeur as a polar influence in the area should, perhaps, temper design decisions in the vicinity. in la Monk a mp Ch ul. Bo ne nty Verdun na 40 an eB Ru Ru e
