Welcome! <ul><li>WebCamp is a free Web interest event </li></ul><ul><li>The 1 st WebCamp was held in DERI in March 2007 on the theme of Social Networks </li></ul><ul><li>Inspired by it’s success we’re holding the 2 nd event today! </li></ul><ul><li>Theme: The Emerging Mobile Internet </li></ul><ul><li>Goal: Bring together people interested in Mobile Internet to discuss state-of-art and future directions </li></ul>

The AIC <ul><li>Established in 2003 via SFI Cluster Award </li></ul><ul><ul><li>€ 5.6 million funding from SFI over 4 years </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Involves 6 Principal Investigators from Dublin Universities UCD and DCU </li></ul><ul><li>Multidisciplinary across science and engineering </li></ul><ul><li>Now has 87 researchers </li></ul><ul><li>CSET submitted 1Q2007 – c a . €20M </li></ul>
