  • *The Reubenites, Gadites and half tribe of Manaseh in verse 1 are the soldiers we want to focus on, They were rewarded like the 4 honor guards of Cory in vv 8&9-a. good land of Gilead b. great wealth- gold, clothing, iron for tools and weapons and large herds of livestock
  • *Too many churches to choose from today makes Christians loose in commitment to church. Christians without strong commitment to church are weak, immature, unfruitful and unuseful Christians that have no impact to the lost world. Small discontentment, misunderstanding, offense and pressure cause them to desert the church easily and quickly.

  • SOLDIERS WITH HONOR
  • Joshua 22:1-9
  • Joshua 22:1
    • Then Joshua summoned the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh (NIV)
    • and said to them, “ You have done all that Moses the servant of the LORD commanded, and you have obeyed me in everything I commanded. (NIV)
    Joshua 22:2
    • For a long time now--to this very day—you have not deserted your brothers but have carried out the mission the LORD your God gave you. (NIV)

  • Joshua 22:4
    • Now that the LORD your God has given your brothers rest as he promised, return to your homes in the land that Moses the servant of the LORD gave you on the other side of the Jordan. (NIV)

    • But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the LORD gave you: to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to obey his commands, to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and all your soul.“

    • You have not deserted your brethren [the other tribes] these many days to this day but have carefully kept the charge of the Lord your God. (AMP)
    • All this time and right down to this very day you have not abandoned your brothers; you've shouldered the task laid on you by GOD, your God. (TMSG)
  • MEANING OF CARRY OUT
    • - perform a task or
    • planned operation.
    • - they did not stop fighting until the mission is done. We can hear Joshua saying to them " Mission Accomplished!“
    • - the FANTASTIC FOUR did not sit, eat and pee until their mission is done.

    • The mission of G12 is to make every member a cell leader
    • You are Mission Accomplished when you have your 12 cell leaders!
