  • 1. ResultsIn this presentation you will see the results for myaudience questionnaire investigation. I created thecharts in Excel from my tally sheet. This has given mesome clear audience feedback and has given me myown ideas.
  • 2. How old are you? 10-15 years old 16-24 years old 25+ years old This chart suggests that my key audience range is age 16- 24 female.
  • 3. What is your gender? Male Female This shows that I interviewed more females than males.
  • 4. What music genre do you prefer to listen to? 12 10 8 6 4 Series1 2 0 From this bar chart I discovered that the most popular genre today is indie/soul. I have been planning to do this genre anyway for my music video so this was great feedback! I noticed that pop music is also very popular.
  • 5. How often do you watch music videos? Often In my spare time Never I discovered from this chart that the majority of people I interviewed watch music videos in their spare time.
  • 6. Do you prefer a music video which has anarrative? No Sometimes yes Series1 Yes 0 2 4 6 8 10 12 This suggests that half of the number of people I interviewed would prefer a narrative in a music video. This is a 50/50 result.
  • 7. Would you prefer to see more than onelocation? Yes No This shows very clearly that everyone would prefer more than one location in the video. This would make the video more exciting to watch and interesting.
  • 8. What form of technology do you prefer to listen to/ consume music? 16 14 12 10 8 Series1 6 4 2 0 Internet TV Phone Other This chart shows that the majority prefer to consume music on the internet. Therefore I may consider when creating adverts to show how they would be displayed online!
  • 9. What appeals to you most in a music video? Range of shots and angles Costume change Location change Narrative This shows that location change is appealing in a music video so I will look into locations for my own video. Also, I will need to use a good range of shots and angles.
  • 10. What do you most expect from a digipak? Original Imagery Designed CD Photos of band/artist inside Clear list of song titles This shows that all four of these expectations are almost equally as popular for a digipak so I will be considering all of these in the creation of my digipak.
  • 11. When viewing a music advert what do you think needs to stand out? 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 Series1 2 1 0 Typography Colour Band/artist Name of Date of scheme name new album release and design This bar chart suggests that colour scheme and design is most important for an advert to stand out, closely followed by typography. These are two important factors to consider.
