The significance of my audience feedback! Throughout the course I have been receiving audience feedback in order tomake decisions of my own for my work and also how to make improvements. Ihave found this extremely helpful as I could find out the needs of my audience and put them into my project.
I began by creating a brainstorm for my target audience- music genre, age, gender, hobbies and the artists that have inspired my song idea. This washelpful because I felt I had a path for the rest of my project.
I then created an audience questionairre in which I got a tally chart from. I askedquestions to do with the type of expectations people have for music videos, digipaks and adverts. This helped me to make further decisions. I alsodiscovered that the most popular genre of music was indie so I took this genreto use as my genre.
This is the tally chart I created from the questionairre results. You cansee how I have used some of the results to make decisions such asthe genre and locations in the video.
I then created a “goanimate”. I firstly collected some feedback from my peers formy music video and I then put the feedback I received to each animation. Thiswas helpful because I could then make changes to anything that needed to beworked on.
I collected feedback using post it notes as it was a quick andsimple way to get feedback for my digipak and magazine advertbecause I could leave them out on the desk so people could writesome feedback for me. I chose the best feedback I was given andtook pictures of the post its. I found this really useful as I couldmake the necessary changes.
