    • Citizen Journalism Africa (CJA) http://www.citizenjournalismafrica.org
      • Hivos/SANGONeT civil journalism, a user-generated content project s upported by the European Union.
      • Estimated results
      • Increased collaborative networking, learning and knowledge sharing between participants, training partners on the regional and the country level
      • Increased presence of and access to diverse and journalistically sound content on the situation of women and other marginalised groups in the media of the target countries.
      • The specific objective is to improve capacity of selected African CSOs in the field of :
            • Gender,
            • Children and Youth
            • HIV/AIDS and
            • Rural Communities

    • Zambia : 16 organisations Uganda : 15 organisations Tanzania : 14 organisations South Africa : 14 organisations Zimbabwe : 13 organisations Mozambique : 16 organisations
      • Trainings and workshops :
        • Web 2.0 (Blogger, Technocracy, Webpage, …)
        • Social media (Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, …)
      • Online Courses :
        • Digital storytelling (Cellphone usage, Picassa, Audacity, Youtube, Zoopy, … )
        • Reporting and writing (Journalistic writing skills)
      • Country Focal Points
      • In conjunction with the twelve partners, the project mobilises the wealth of ideas, knowledge and skills.
      • Provide practical hands on training to local CSOs and community media organisations in their country,
      • Act as the local learning and networking hub and
      • Implement peer-to-peer training activities, helpdesk services, and on-the job training activities.
