“This book is amazing!!!! It is full of action and
mystery. If you are scared of death, this is not a
good book for you. People die. This book is about
a boy who lives in Maine and his island us
quarantined by a branch of the Navy called Sylo.
They do not let anyone leave because they have
been affected by a deadly virus. When the main
character tastes the ruby he gets more into this
war between the Navy and the Shadow Planes
than he could have ever imagined.

“After reading this book, I thought that it was
amazing. I loved the plot of the story because
there are some great experiences that a girl
named Tessa goes through after being knocked
out by a dodge ball. The format was a little
weird at first because it looks like it is a poem,
but after awhile I got hooked into the story. It is
a great read, and I highly recommend this
book.” ~Linah Uchiyama

“Out of all the books I have read, this one
is definitely my favorite. The main
character, Beatrice Prior, goes on an
adventure of a lifetime that could change
her life forever. Divergent is a fast and
fun story that might change your life too.
I would rate this book with 5 stars, maybe
