Sabi Day Presentation 4 (Final One)

  1. 1. Small Act = Big Impact We are launching a campaign to see how making a small change or doing a small thing can have a big impact. We think that by doing lots of small things we can make the world a better place.

What Small things are we talking about? <ul><li>The World </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Making sure that you use energy saving lightbulbs </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Do you recycle as much as you should? </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Do you think about where your food comes from? </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Do you compost your waste material? </li></ul></ul>Small Act = Big Impact

What small things can we do? <ul><li>Your Community </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Ask a neighbour if you can help </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Help/support those people who work for the community like Fire Officers or Police Officers </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Do something nice for someone without them knowing </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Smile at someone </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Take time to talk and listen. </li></ul></ul>Small Act = Big Impact

Small Act = Big Impact You can do things at a ‘personal level’ like doing things at home or in your community ‘ School level’ which is doing things in school like smiling at people or offering a hand Hold a Small Act=Big Impact Day (SABI) where every one does something to make a difference.
