  • Tanzania es un país de África del este de una superficie de 945.087 km². Los países limítrofes son al norte Kenia y Uganda, al oeste Ruanda, Burundi y la República Democrática del Congo y al sur Zambia, Malawi y Mozambique.
  • Tanzania es uno de los países en que se cree que aparecieron los primeros seres humanos
  • La mayor parte del territorio de Tanzania corresponde al bioma de sabana
  • Las regiones montañosas están cubiertas de selvas umbrófilas (humedas) y, a mayor altitud, praderas de montaña
  • La montaña más alta es el Kilimanjaro, que también es un volcán y el monte mas alto de África.
