    Thanks for viewing my deck. It's a shame Health 2.0 events aren't routinely video recorded because this bit of my presentation obviously doesn't work as a slide deck and I would of course never refer to the world's best selling mobile (the Nokia 1100) 'as so 1999!' because it obviously wasn't around in 1999.

    Nokia may have defined the 2000-2010 decade but they didn't have tech that good in 1999!

    If you look at slide 45 (before slide 46 where I compared mPesa - cash + Nokia 1100 - and the unnecessarily complicated, very slow to scale NFC terminal service from VISA) it states 'mHealth is not rocket science'.

    The point I was trying to make was that you don't actually need to think about the latest whizz bang tech (like NFC and smartphones) to have success in mHealth and the success of mPesa highlights this (eg. mMoney transfers through mPesa in Kenya exceeded Paypal's global volumes last year).
