  • Behind every
    number there is
    a story: 127
    “..pure religion
    is this: bringing
    relief to orphans
    and widows…”
    James 1:27
  • The forgotten victims of the
    Sub-Sahara
    AIDS Pandemic
  • 3 of the African countries that have been worst affected by HIV/AIDS are Botswana, Malawi, and Zambia).
  • Problem behind the story…..
35% of children 13 yrs. and under
are living as orphans in Malawi
  • John 10: 10
A story within the word AIDS
  • John 10: 10
“The thief comes only to steal,
    and kill, and destroy….”
The battle is physical and spiritual
  • Spiritual Battle
Red dots indicate the locations of over 600
    Sub-Saharan people groups among whom
No one is sharing the Gospel.
MOMS lake property is in the
    area of the yellow dot.
    “Yao”
A portion of the 1.28 million
Yao line in the yellow dot.
  • Physical Battle
    Poverty compounds the
    AIDS pandemic.
Malawi is one of the 5 poorest countries in the world.
  • Problem behind the story…..
Malaria, Malnutrition, Hunger, Homeless, No remedy….
  • Social fallout of AIDS
People who contract AIDS often are ostracized by society,
    blocked from resources that
    otherwise might help them.
  • “I have come that they may
have life, and have it to the full”
The “S” in AIDS is Salvation
    (through Jesus Christ )
And it has the last say over AIDS
  • Our Task is to preach and heal.
  • Behind every
    number there is
    a story: 127
    “… bringing
    relief to orphans”
    James 1:27
    The story has a
    Remedy called
    “Relief”
    “Healing”
    “Love of Christ”
    “Investment”
    Christ Jesus in us
    is the Remedy
  • The Remedy
    of Christ
    thus far……
    $6 USD
    feeds one
    Child per
    month
A few of the 100 orphans being fed at a remote village called Cholo.
  • Cholo orphans
At the end of 2010, 300 orphans
were being fed daily in three villages in southern Malawi.
  • Every meal includes
    a Bible Story …and fun!
  • Cholo orphans
  • Nansembe orphans
  • Nansembe Feeding
    Site
  • 15.8 acres purchased in July 2010
Future site of MOMS Care Village & Care Camp
  • Model Care
    Cottage
  • As a follower of Christ Jesus,
“Whatever I see with my eyes,
I am to become a part of the
    Solution.”
I am not to see things
    through my eyes, but through
    His eyes.
  • We are the Remedy to this story
    James 1: 27
Please pray about becoming a part of the remedy to Malawi’s
    Forgotten little ones…..
