He is an international information management specialist with over 25 years oil sector experience. He is a chartered geologist and chartered scientist, director and previous past chair of the UK Records Management Society, chairman of the Data Management Group of the Petroleum Exploration Society and the Chair of the Geoscience Information Group of the Geological Society. Paul is an editor of the Bulletin of the Records Management Society. He publishes extensively in the field of information, records and knowledge management and provides a series of international training courses in these disciplines. Paul has considerable experience in the project management of large-scale information management projects (both physical and electronic records and data) and the development and implementation of information management policies strategies and retention schedules.
