Lions Charity Golf 2009
The Lions Club of Tawau Host will be holding the annual Charity Golf
tournament on the 8th November 2009 at the Tawau Golf Club Hot Spring
course.
This year, the Club plans to use the proceeds from the tournament for
various projects including health, education, public service and youth
services. The major projects of the club includes donation of intraocular
lenses for cataract patients and we donate around 50 lenses each year for
the poor in Tawau and the surrounding areas. Scholarships for students
and donation of foodstuffs and materials to the deaf and dumb school,
Sri Stella home for handicapped children and to the Old Folks’ home are
regularly projects.
We would like to appeal to you to participate in the tournament to help
make this year’s Charity Golf Tournament a success.
Sponsors of at least RM500-00 in cash or kind will be invited to
participate in the tournament as our guest.
